A **Plant Operator** is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within a plant or manufacturing facility. - **Operation of Equipment**:

- Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.
- Start up and shut down machinery as required, following operating procedures.
- Monitor control panels, gauges, and other indicators to ensure proper plant operation.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and operational activities.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure the quality of products or processes meets required standards.
- Test equipment and materials to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to management.
- Ensure the plant operates in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- **Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain logs of plant operations, machine performance, and issues encountered.
- Prepare reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and operational incidents.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other plant operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth plant operations and address any operational issues.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Technical Knowledge**: Understanding of plant machinery, operations, and industry-specific equipment.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Monitor operations carefully and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to report issues, collaborate with colleagues, and document operations.
- **Physical Stamina**: Some plants may require physical labor, such as lifting equipment or standing for long periods.

**Education and Experience**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or degree in a related field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial technology is often preferred.

**Additional Skills (Optional)**:

- Forklift or heavy machinery operation certification.
- Knowledge of specific software tools used for plant operation control (SCADA, PLC, etc.).

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
