Job Description: Garment Merchandiser at Mimino Fashions Pvt Ltd (Kids Garment Manufacturing Unit)

Position Overview:
As a Garment Merchandiser at Mimino Fashions Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire merchandising process for our kids' garment manufacturing unit. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments and ensuring that our products meet quality, cost, and delivery standards while adhering to customer requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with designers, production teams, and clients to successfully bring our kids' clothing designs from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development: Collaborate with the design team to create and develop new kids' garment collections based on market trends, customer preferences, and specific client requirements.

2. Sourcing and Material Selection: Identify and source appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories needed for production, ensuring that they meet quality and cost standards.

3. Order Management: Manage the entire order process, including planning, production, and delivery schedules. Ensure timely execution of orders and resolve any production-related issues that may arise.

4. Costing and Pricing: Calculate and negotiate product costs to maintain competitive pricing while ensuring profitability for the company.

5. Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure that all garments meet the required standards.

6. Production Coordination: Liaise with production units, suppliers, and factories to monitor progress, resolve production challenges, and ensure on-time delivery.

7. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on order status, addressing any concerns, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

8. Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to make informed decisions on product development and pricing strategies.

9. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the sales team to plan stock replenishment and minimize stockouts.

10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all production-related information and prepare regular reports for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in merchandising, preferably in kids' garment manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Proficiency in using computer software for product tracking, inventory management, and data analysis.
