**Miracle Coatings Private Ltd (Formerly Bangalore Paints Pvt Ltd) **was established in 1980 and manufacturers the entire range of decorative paints - internal and external, masonry finishes and special industrial formulations paints and coatings.

The Company has in the past has been contract (toll) manufacturing for larger paint companies, like Goodlass Nerolac, Shalimar Paints Limited, Jenson & Nicholson, Bombay Paints Limited, etc.

Simultaneously the Company has signed note-worthy foreign collaborations for high value products, both in the decorative segment as well as in the industrial segment, adding to our technical expertise and knowledge.

The Company has a technical collaboration, for the manufacture of specialized Industrial Coatings with **Brillux **- Germany, which is one the largest paint companies in Germany having a turnover of almost Euro 600 million.

**MCPL is looking for a Chemist.**

The job description is as below:

- Responsible for quality of the FG and RM as per specification and technical data sheet
- Proper handling and up keeping of lab equipment
- Involvement in new products development and technical support
- Counter sample management
- Safety and house keeping
- Cooperation with other department and co-ordination
- Proper documentation of all the lab activity, SOP management
- Preparation of Test certificates for finished goods
- Preparation of daily reports on number of batches approved, test certificate as compared to prescribe standard & entries in Tally
- Calibration check lists, preventive maintenance check lists
- Preparation of comparative reports against the competitor products, test results on quarterly basis
- To take production of first two batches of new trials & new batches
- Details of samples, tracking list of counter samples
- Proper usage of PPE
- Up keeping & Maintenance of work area and Lab equipment
- To help Production during absenteeism of production staff/as per requirement
- Maintain Counter samples, advance samples, standard samples & Production counter samples
- Colour Matching
- Following Standard Procedures for testing

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, with further education being advantageous.
- Minimum 1-2 years of Laboratory experience and Quality Control Chemist in the industry
- Excellent documentation, written and verbal communication skills are essential;
- Quality Control Chemist with a passion for ensuring product quality and safety.
