Supply Planning Coordinator

**DESCRIPTION**

Key Responsibilities
- **Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)**:

- Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Engage in HSE training and adhere to safety protocols.
- **Quality**:

- Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
- Perform quality checks on material planning master data (e.g., lead times, order quantities) to support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) initiative.
- Work with Quality teams to address and resolve non-conforming material issues.
- **Delivery**:

- Manage part change requests and ramp up/ramp down activities to align with global aftermarket demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with Product Management to set initial stocking levels for new product introductions and ensure part readiness for target launch dates.
- Confirm planners initiate No Source Cases as needed and work with Purchasing to set up local/dual sourced parts.
- Oversee Hazmat part setup to ensure compliance with Cummins guidelines and regulations.
- Coordinate inventory bank builds and monitor demand movements for recurring and non-recurring activities, including campaigns.
- Execute planning parameter reviews and improvements, and support Supplier Materials Agreements to balance supply and demand.
- Conduct root cause analysis for excess and obsolete inventory and initiate proper inventory disposition.

- **Materials Planning System Utilization** : Manage supply and demand plans using materials planning systems and perform long-term corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
- **Part Change Control Management** : Evaluate and implement engineering change requests to meet delivery requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- **Master Supply Scheduling** : Establish and maintain a valid Master Production Schedule to meet customer expectations and optimize operational efficiency.
- **Materials KPI Management** : Operate based on historical and expected outputs to drive improvements and balance trade-offs among KPIs.
- **Communication** : Develop and deliver clear communications to diverse audiences, addressing their unique needs.
- **Customer Focus** : Build strong relationships and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

**Shift and Location**
- This role operates in the US time zone, with a night shift from 5 PM to 2 AM IST. Night shift allowance and pickup/drop-off facilities (within PMC & PCMC jurisdiction) are provided.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree or equivalent preferred.

**Experience**:
Requires 5-7 years of relevant work experience with a strong background in supply planning and on-highway channels. In-depth knowledge of CCC repair and readiness processes is advantageous.
