Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
- **Instruction and Classroom Management**:

- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote critical thinking and a deep understanding of social science concepts.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure a respectful and productive learning environment.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and other required documentation.
- **Individualized Support**:

- Identify students who need additional support and provide individualized instruction and assistance.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with special education staff and other professionals to support students with special needs.
- **Parent and Guardian Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and meetings to discuss student performance and development.
- Provide resources and guidance to parents on how to support their child's learning at home.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest educational trends, teaching methods, and social science content.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop effective teaching strategies.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**:

- Support and participate in school extracurricular activities, events, and clubs related to social sciences.
- Encourage student participation in activities that promote civic engagement and social awareness.
- Organize and supervise educational field trips and other extracurricular events.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, committees, and other school-related activities.
- Contribute to the overall planning and administration of the school.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
- State teaching certification or licensure for social sciences.
- **Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience in social sciences at the middle or high school level is preferred.
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum and lesson plans.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
