You, along with your team mates, will be responsible for:
- build and maintain the quantitative models for back-testing and daily calculations of strategies according to manual or documentation
- calculate, reconcile and publish strategy levels on a daily basis
- produce regular performance report of strategies for internal and external clients
- communicate and cooperate with different internal counterparties to timely resolve issues in daily work
- understand the business and the internal systems thoroughly
- build various automated controls and operational risk management processes and manage them on a daily basis
**Your team**
- The Quantitative Investment Strategy (QIS) Platform of UBS is an entrepreneurial, cross-asset team focusing on building best in class ecosystem for supporting and managing QIS business catering to institutional investors from across the world. The team works in close collaboration with Structuring, Sales, Trading and Quants from multiple regions and is based out of Mumbai and Shanghai.
**Your expertise**
- basic understanding of financial markets and a desire to develop a career in Financial & Derivative markets
- strong programing skills in Python required
- advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- strong ability in communicating in English
- able to work on multiple tasks whilst meeting tight deadlines
- able to find and solve issues independently
- attention to details
