Academic Counselor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding academic and career goals, program options, and study plans.
- Assist students in course selection based on individual goals, strengths, and challenges.
- Offer guidance on available academic resources, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
- Conduct orientation sessions and workshops for new students, introducing them to academic processes and success strategies.
- Support students in building effective study habits and time management skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, intervening when students face academic or personal challenges.
- Develop relationships with parents, guardians, and faculty to support students’ educational experiences.
- Stay updated on academic programs, university admissions processes, and career trends to provide relevant advice.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, career coaching, or student support roles is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and faculty effectively.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and sensitivity.
- Proficiency in using student information systems and related technology.
- Familiarity with educational trends, career counseling techniques, and academic advising best practices.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Problem-solving skills to support students facing academic and personal challenges.
- Training in counseling or career coaching techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
