Cable Splicer Job Duties:

- Cable splicers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Installing new cables and repairing damaged ones, using hand tools such as pliers and wire cutters.
- Coordinating with other construction workers during projects to ensure that their work does not interfere with other trades’ activities.
- Installing new cabling and equipment such as modems, routers, and switches.
- Maintaining work site safety by following OSHA guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) while working with hazardous materials or equipment.
- Installing cable television equipment such as amplifiers, filters, splitters, and converters.
- Reading blueprints and schematics to determine the location of cables and equipment needed for installation or repair.
- Installing fiber optic cables for phone, internet, and security systems.
- Installing or repairing electrical wiring or equipment such as transformers, junction boxes, circuit breakers, and light fixtures.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
