Job Title:

Department: Agronomy & Farmer Advisory Services

Reporting To: Regional Head - Technical & Sales Support

Location: Field-based (Jammu Division and surrounding target markets)

Role Objective:
To provide science-based guidance to farmers, channel partners, and internal teams on best crop management practices, promote adoption of JP INDO-CORP products, and ensure on-ground technical support for maximizing crop yields and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Advisory & Farmer Engagement
- Conduct field visits to advise farmers on seed selection, nutrient management, pest/disease control, and crop rotation.
- Demonstrate product performance of GENEVA SEEDS, NORTH-WEST CULTIVO NUTRICION, and PHYTOGENIX CROP DEFENCE through demo plots and trials.
- Address farmer complaints or feedback with technical solutions.

Dealer & Retailer Training
- Train dealers and retailers on product knowledge, correct usage, and agronomic benefits.
- Conduct block-level technical meetings, input clinics, and agri-camps.

Demo Plot Monitoring & Data Collection
- Supervise trial and demonstration plots in coordination with the marketing and sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of crop response, yield data, and soil/crop health indicators.

Soil and Crop Diagnostics
- Perform soil testing, crop health surveys, and advise corrective measures (e.g., nutrient balancing, pest management).
- Identify second-generation soil problems and promote integrated soil health solutions.

Technical Support for Sales Team
- Assist the sales team with product positioning, crop-specific recommendations, and resolving technical queries.
- Prepare agronomy-based promotional content and support campaigns.

Research & Development Feedback
- Provide regular feedback on product efficacy and competitor practices to the R&D and product development teams.
- Help in identifying needs for new formulations or crop-specific packages.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or Plant Protection
- Experience: 2-5 years of field-level agronomic experience in seeds, fertilizers, or agrochemicals
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of crop production, soil fertility, plant nutrition, and IPM/ICM
- Skills:

- Effective communication in local dialects and Hindi/English
- Data recording and report writing
- Public speaking and training ability
- Basic digital literacy (MS Office, GPS, soil testing kits)

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

- Number of demo plots established and monitored
- Farmer meetings and training sessions conducted
- Dealer/retailer technical sessions held
- Feedback reports and trial evaluations submitted
- Increase in product adoption and usage area

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
