Senior Architect - Landscape Design & Construction

**Landscape Elements** is a leading landscape design and construction company specializing in Hardscape, Softscape, and Aquascape solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Kharghar. This role will be instrumental in leading the design and execution of innovative and sustainable landscape projects.

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Design Development**: Lead the design process from concept to detailed design, creating visually appealing and functional landscape designs that meet client needs and project requirements.
- **Technical Drawings & Specifications**: Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents, including grading plans, planting plans, irrigation plans, hardscape details, and other relevant documentation.
- **Project Management**: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other consultants.
- **Client Communication**: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating design concepts, project progress, and addressing any concerns.
- **Team Leadership & Mentorship**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- **Site Analysis**: Conduct thorough site analysis to understand existing conditions, identify opportunities and constraints, and inform design decisions.
- **Material Selection**: Research and select appropriate materials for hardscape, softscape, and aquascape elements, considering aesthetics, durability, sustainability, and budget.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- **Cost Estimation**: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects and manage project budgets effectively.
- **Software Proficiency**: Demonstrate proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Land F/X (or similar landscape design software), and other relevant programs.
- **Sustainability Focus**: Integrate sustainable design principles into all projects, including water conservation, native plant selection, and responsible material sourcing.
- **Aquascape Expertise (preferred)**: Experience in designing and constructing water features, ponds, and other aquatic landscapes is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in landscape architectural design and construction.
- Proven track record of successfully completing a variety of landscape projects.
- Strong design skills and a passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Land F/X, etc.).
- Knowledge of plant materials, construction techniques, and sustainable practices.
