**Position Overview**
**Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership**
- Develop and implement high-level strategies, business plans, and policies to achieve long-term objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership that drives the company’s mission, values, and strategic direction.
- Report to the Board of Directors and keep them informed on company progress, industry trends, and emerging risks.
- Identify growth opportunities in domestic and international markets.
**Operational Management**
- Oversee day-to-day operations and align departments including Production, Finance, Sales & Marketing, HR, R&D, IT, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure manufacturing efficiency, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement modern manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to improve production and reduce waste.
**Financial Performance**
- Lead the budgeting and financial forecasting process in collaboration with the CFO.
- Monitor financial performance indicators and ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
- Manage capital expenditures and resource allocation with a focus on ROI.
**People & Culture**
- Build a high-performance leadership team with clear responsibilities and succession planning.
- Foster a workplace culture of accountability, inclusion, safety, sustainability, and innovation.
- Promote employee engagement and talent development initiatives.
**Business Development & Partnerships**
- Build strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance market presence.
- Represent the company in trade associations, industry conferences, and negotiations.
- Expand the business through mergers, acquisitions, or diversification (as per strategic goals).
**Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure all company operations comply with environmental, legal, and ethical standards.
- Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive initiatives for environmental sustainability and eco-friendly manufacturing practices.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field (required)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent (preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a C-suite or executive-level role in manufacturing, preferably in the paper, pulp, or packaging industry
- Strong track record in managing large-scale operations, financial turnarounds, and cross-functional leadership
- Knowledge of industry-specific technology and operational practices
