**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented **Accounts Assistant** to join our team. You will support the finance department with daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks (data entry, voucher preparation, bank reconciliations)
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices and payments to vendors
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Handle petty cash and expense claims
- Assist with tax compliance and statutory filings (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with GST and TDS compliance
- Experience in handling bank reconciliations and ledger entries
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
