Power BI Architect

**Architectural Design & Strategy**:

- Lead the architecture, design, and migration from **WebFOCUS** to Power Apps and Power BI platforms.
- Develop and maintain scalable architecture for Power Apps, Power BI, and data integration projects.
- Work on building data models and reporting structures to ensure a smooth transition from WebFOCUS to Power BI.
- Design and implement solutions that maximize the performance and usability of Power Apps and Power BI tools while ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- **Migration Management**:

- Define migration strategies, including data transformation, system integration, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure a seamless and effective migration process with mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and adherence to security and compliance standards during the migration process.
- **Technical Leadership**:

- Lead technical discussions and solutions design, ensuring best practices in architecture and implementation.
- Mentor and guide development teams in utilizing Power Apps and Power BI for enhanced business outcomes.
- **Collaboration & Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align migration efforts with business goals and project timelines.
- Provide regular updates on project status and migration progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Optimization & Post-Migration Support**:

- Monitor post-migration performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the Power Platform environment.
- Provide continuous support to ensure the longevity and success of Power Apps and Power BI solutions after migration.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically **Power Apps** and **Power BI**.
- Proven experience migrating legacy systems such as **WebFOCUS** to Power BI and Power Apps platforms.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency with **WebFOCUS**, including experience with its reporting tools, dashboards, and architecture.
- Experience with **Pyramid Analytics** is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Azure Data Services) and data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as **Microsoft Azure** and **AWS**.
- **Certifications**:

- Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, including **Power Apps** and **Power BI**.
- Certification in **Pyramid Analytics** is a strong advantage.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and platform issues.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple migration projects in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Experience in migration projects** involving data visualization tools and reporting systems like WebFOCUS.
- Knowledge of advanced **analytics tools** like **Pyramid Analytics** for enhanced BI capabilities.
- Proven track record in managing digital transformation projects in various industry sectors.

- Vadapalani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
