Audit and Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Support in tax planning, filing, and compliance for individuals and businesses.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and related documentation.
- Research and interpret tax laws and accounting regulations to provide accurate advice.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to manage day-to-day audit and tax operations.
- Handle client communications and address queries related to audits and taxes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients and management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or equivalent qualification is a plus (or in the process of completing CA).
- Previous experience in audit and tax roles will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
