As a Kafka SME in Observability Backend team, you expected to:

- Be responsible to dene/improve the monitoring and alerting rules for Kafka clusters.
- Own (plan, dene requirements, supervise and implement) Kafka clusters migration from on-perm DC’s to AWS.
- Design and implement Kafka stress-tests to measure the performance limits.
- Suggest the improvements of the cluster’s topology - to increase the performance limits.
- Mitigate issues with Kafka’s functioning, implement the preventive measures (own Post-mortem’s and improvements tasks).
- Analyse Kafka performance, identify the deviations from usual patterns and dene, document, and implement corrective actions.
- Be responsible for the Kafka’s SLA (99.9% availability) fulfilment.
- As a member of Observability Backend team, you expected to:

- Participate in the on call rotation for services provided by the team. To do so you will need to be able to mitigate (by using the runbooks) issues with:

- Elastic search
- Thanos
- Tempo
- Flink

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
