**Job Summary**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role involves working closely with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with various departments to meet the organization's needs.
### **Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Supplier Management**:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and performance.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
2. **Procurement Process**:
- Coordinate and manage the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation and records.
- Track and monitor the status of orders, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays or issues.
3. **Cost Management**:
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present cost analysis and reports to management.
4. **Inventory Management**:
- Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
5. **Compliance and Risk Management**:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities.
6. **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement goals and objectives.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities and performance to management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of market research and sourcing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Skills**:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost management principles.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
**Work Environment**:
- This position is typically based in an office setting, with occasional visits to suppliers or other company locations.
- May require occasional travel for supplier visits or industry events.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
