**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
- Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Provide hands-on treatment including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems to track progress and outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
- Work with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with orthopedic conditions.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and maintain a safe treatment environment.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Proficient in discharge planning processes for effective patient transitions.
- Experience in acute care settings as well as outpatient clinics is preferred.
- Familiarity with home & community care practices is advantageous.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation and record keeping.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
