**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide a positive experience.
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or complaints.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers promptly.
- Ensure proper cash management and maintain the cash drawer balance.
- Assist with packaging take-away orders.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and discounts.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth order processing.
- Follow all safety and security procedures as per company policies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a cashier in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Customer-focused with a friendly and helpful attitude.
