**Job Summary**:
The Hotel Cashier is responsible for handling all guest billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently. The role ensures proper cash handling, posting of charges, balancing of receipts, and providing excellent customer service. The cashier may work closely with the front desk, restaurant, or other outlets within the hotel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process guest payments including cash, credit cards, and room charges.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts (e.g., room service, minibar, telephone usage, etc.).
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift.
- Prepare daily cashier reports and deposit summaries.
- Verify guest information, billing instructions, and payment methods.
- Maintain accurate financial records and submit required reports to the finance department.
- Follow hotel policies regarding financial transactions and security.
- Assist with front desk duties when required (check-ins, check-outs, reservations).
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve billing complaints professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and guest information.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting or Hospitality is a plus.
- Previous cashiering or front desk experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Proficient in using Point-of-Sale (POS) and Property Management Systems (PMS), e.g., Opera or similar.
- Basic math and accounting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced, customer-facing hotel environment.
- Interaction with guests, staff, and management daily.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
