Our client is one of the leading global banking firms which provides industry-focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their Institutional Division in Bangalore as an Economist.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of various aspects of the economy.
- Identify and analyze notable economic trends to contribute to timely and relevant research reports.
- Collaborate with team members to market economic views to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support fellow team members in their research and marketing efforts.

**Role requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics from a reputed institute.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting various aspects of APAC economies to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Experience in conducting high quality analyses and generating research reports for macroeconomic or microeconomic variables.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Some of the desirable skillsets include experience in forecasting aspects of an economy, programming, statistical and quantitative skills.
