**Job Summary**:
**Eligibility Criteria**:For Assistant Professor:

- Ph.D. in Agronomy / Horticulture, Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Agronomy / Horticulture with minimum 55% marks.
- NET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC/ICAR norms.
- Teaching/research/industry experience will be preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and field demonstrations related to Agronomy and/or Horticulture.
- Develop curriculum, teaching materials, lab manuals, and research proposals.
- Conduct research in specialized areas and publish findings in reputed journals.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Organize seminars, workshops, training programs, and industry-oriented projects.
- Contribute to departmental accreditations (ICAR, NAAC, UGC, PCI, etc.)
- Collaborate with industry, government bodies, and research organizations for funded projects and consultancy work.
- Participate in university committees, academic audits, and administrative roles as assigned.
- Maintain student discipline, mentor students, and support their academic growth and career counseling.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Expertise in crop production techniques, soil management, horticultural practices, and sustainable agriculture.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching aids and research tools.
- Capability to establish research labs and manage field trials.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
