**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Compliance Officer** to ensure adherence to Indian legal and regulatory frameworks across our operations. This role is central to fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct, and will work closely with HR, Finance, Executive Leadership, and Government Authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure organizational compliance with Indian legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal compliance policies and SOPs
- Maintain and submit statutory records and legal filings
- Coordinate with government bodies, legal counsel, and training providers
- Oversee mandatory training initiatives (e.g., POSH, anti-bribery)
- Maintain compliance registers, documentation, and audit readiness
- Monitor compliance risks and support mitigation strategies

**About You**

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role
- Hands-on experience with Indian statutory filings and labour compliance
- Proven liaison experience with Indian government authorities

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- In-depth understanding of Indian compliance frameworks (Companies Act, POSH, GST, etc.)
- Strong legal research, documentation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital compliance tools
- High attention to detail, time management, and integrity
