**Job Title**: Lab Technician
**Department**:Pathology

**Reporting to**:Head Pathologist

**Job Summary**:
The Pathology Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests, sample collection, processing, analysis, and documentation in accordance with established hospital and NABL/NABH standards to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, label, and process blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other clinical samples following proper aseptic techniques.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and histopathology tests.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery of test results.
- Maintain daily logs, quality control records, and other required documentation.
- Adhere to infection control, biosafety, and waste disposal protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and patients for sample collection or report clarifications.
- Assist in stock management of reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
- Support in maintaining NABH/NABL compliance documentation and participate in audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold hospital ethics at all times.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: DMLT / BMLT / MLT from a recognized institution.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory setting
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of laboratory instruments and test procedures.
- Good understanding of quality control standards.
- Basic computer and report entry skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
