**Job Overview**:
The Senior PMO Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the project portfolio by providing oversight and guidance to project management teams. The Senior PMO Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure the portfolio remains aligned with business priorities, financial targets, and regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manage the portfolio of projects, ensuring that they deliver against time, quality, and budget objectives.
2. Develop and implement the project management framework, processes, and tools for successful project delivery.
3. Provide guidance and mentoring to project managers to ensure that they are equipped with the right resources, skills, and knowledge to manage projects effectively.
4. Monitor the delivery of projects against milestones, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that arise.
5. Facilitate communication between departments and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives remain aligned with business priorities.
6. Develop and maintain project management documentation, including project plans, status reports, and financial reports.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party contractors, ensuring that their work is delivered to the required standards and that they meet contractual obligations.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including health and safety, data protection, and financial reporting.
9. Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of projects and any risks or issues that arise.
**Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in a senior role.
3. Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
4. Experience managing large and complex projects in a regulated industry.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with senior management, project managers, and stakeholders.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Knowledge of financial and budget management.
9. Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
