**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To receive, sort and check soiled / contaminated instruments, containers, treatment trays and other supplies and equipment that have been used in the operation theater, ICU, wards, emergency(casualty) room and Catheterization Labarotory and prioritize disinfection and sterilization depending on emergency requisitions.
- To inspect and replace missing or damaged equipment, make minor repairs on them, maintain inventory of supplies to include documenting usage, issuing, receiving and reordering as assigned.
- To maintain an accurate record regarding the effectiveness of the various processes of cleaning, disinfections and sterilization.
- To maintain Quality Control parameters for all methods of sterilization and to document the effectiveness of each method.
- To perform other related duties incidental to work described as assigned.
- Inventory management of Department supplies.
