Data Annotator

**THE JOB**:

- Annotate and label image, video, text and audio data via computer using various internal software programs.
- Tackle incoming tasks within a short timeframe.
- Attach metadata (comments, markups, etc.) to image, video, audio and text data in accordance with established procedures and precise instructions.
- Provide feedback to customers if data is noisy or instructions are unclear.
- Provide constructive feedback to our engineers on tooling and processes for more efficient labelling, and to improve data quality.
- Maintain ownership of each annotation assignment, and respond to any changes in procedure and auditors.
- Evaluate metrics to help improve our productivity.
- Collaborate with other annotation specialists and help out with questions.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Responsible, Self-motivated to work independently, even with mínimal supervision (training is provided).
- An excellent communicator.
- Meticulous and detail oriented.
- Able to type at least 50 WPM.
- Able to maintain sharp focus, even with repetitive tasks.
- Willing to support several projects at one time, and to accept reprioritization as necessary.
- Some experience of similar activities would be an added advantage, e.g. Image segmentation and classification, Data Entry, etc.
- Eager to learn.
- Team player.
