**Job Title**: Graphic Designer / Publishing Editor

**Location**: Kolkata
**Salary**: ₹30,000 - ₹35,000 per month
**Industry**: Publishing / Print Media
**Experience**: 3-5 years (preferably in a publishing house)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and layout of print publications including books, magazines, journals, brochures, and catalogues.
- Work closely with editorial, content, and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.
- Edit and proofread layouts for consistency in style, font, formatting, and accuracy.
- Prepare files for offset printing, digital publishing, and e-book formats.
- Ensure adherence to publishing style guides and branding standards.
- Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and project archives.
- Coordinate with printers, typesetters, and other vendors for final output.
- Stay updated with publishing trends, tools, and best practices.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Publishing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design/editing within the publishing industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of pre-press processes and file formats for print and digital.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
