Anaesthesia Technician

_ **JOB DESCRIPTION**:_

1. To prepare Operating Theater and anesthesia trolley according to surgery.

2. To check medicine availability.

3. To check patient record in preoperative room such as investigation reports etc.

4. To help the anesthetist in intubation and positioning of the patient and anaesthetizing the patient with general or regional technique which applicable.

5. To help the anesthetist in medication and maintaining record of the medicines during surgery.

6. To help anesthetist to monitor the patient intra-operatively and extubate the patient post operatively.

7. To record about intra operative medicines with signature of Senior Consultant and Head of Anaesthesia and Critical Care in the patient’s file.

8. To maintain narcotic log book under guidance of Senior Consultant and Head of Anaesthesia and Critical Care.

9. Identify unserviceable equipments and inform about preventive maintains of equipments to bio
- medical.

10. To shift the patient to recovery or Intensive Care Unit and helping in postoperative monitoring, pain relief and sterilization.

11. To check maintenance of anesthesia equipment and monitors.

12. To send the instruments to Central sterilization supply Department after surgery for sterilization.

13. To ensure quality control by maintaining quality control file.

14. To formulate the Process Improvement programs and carry on Quality Initiatives in the department.

15. To perform all other jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.

Pay: From ₹15,100.00 per month
