Unventured Expeditions, a leading provider of experiential tours in India, Bhutan, and South East Asia, is seeking a passionate and engaging individual to join our team as an Experiential Tour Guide. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to guide travelers through the vibrant cities of Bengaluru, providing them with immersive experiences that go beyond the typical tourist attractions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and captivate guests/travelers with insightful and entertaining commentary, offering unique perspectives on local culture, cuisine, and way of life.
- Demonstrate patience and empathy in addressing guests' questions and concerns, ensuring a satisfying and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Maintain a sense of humor to enhance the tour atmosphere and diffuse any tensions that may arise.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to each tour, effectively managing large groups and adapting to the dynamic nature of the travel environment.
- Ensure punctuality and organization in all aspects of tour logistics, delivering seamless and hassle-free experiences for guests.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of local history and culture, continuously seeking out new experiences and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Utilize language proficiency in English, Kannada and/or Hindi to facilitate communication with locals and enhance the guest experience.
- Demonstrate a keen sense of direction and spatial awareness to navigate through diverse urban and rural landscapes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for travel, culture, and sustainability.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
