Professor Psychiatry

**Job Vacancy: Professor of Psychiatry**
**Location**: Medical College, Solan, Himachal Pradesh
**Position**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to medical students and residents.
- Supervise clinical rounds, case discussions, and psychiatry outpatient and inpatient services.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students and junior faculty.
- Lead research activities in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment processes.
- Engage in clinical practice and contribute to patient care services.
- Represent the department in academic forums and professional conferences.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- MD in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in Psychiatry at the college level, with at least 5 years at an Associate Professor level or equivalent.
- Proven track record in research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in curriculum development and educational innovation.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or other subspecialties.
- Familiarity with current mental health practices and therapies.
- Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

**Remuneration**:
As per Medical College norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
