- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of history pedagogy.
- Develop and implement innovative instructional strategies and materials to enhance student learning.
- Conduct and publish scholarly research in the field of history education.
- Mentor students and provide guidance and support for their academic and professional development.
- Participate in department and college committees and initiatives.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with trends and advancements in the field.

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. in History Education or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience teaching history at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- A strong record of scholarly research and publication in the field of history education.
- Experience developing and implementing innovative instructional strategies and materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the wider community.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
