**Req ID**:223622 We are currently seeking a Networking Advisor to join our team in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN). **Position overview** The position requires, day to day operational support for requests and incidents on all network related aspects involving multiple technologies such as: wireless, switching, routing, sdwan, and high level protocol understanding such as: dns, dhcp, ftp, and others. Also, engineer will be part of an on call rotation with the rest of the team. **Position's General Duties and Tasks**: - Fulfill requests on all network technologies, in a timely manner using ITIL based principles. - Troubleshoot highly complex issues at the network level, and escalate issues accordingly to other technical teams if needed. - Create and maintain documentation for all network related design changes, using multiple tools like Visio, SolarWinds Network Atlas. - Work directly with customer or other technical teams to resolve from simple problems to highly severity incidents adhering to SLAs. - Be part of our on call rotation for the weekend to support high severity incidents. - Work in ServiceNOW in a daily basis using ITIL best practices. - Be willing to learn, specially on the automation realm, some knowledge of python would be a big plus. **Qualifications** **Must have Skills**: - Advanced Wireless experience using Cisco products, mainly Cisco WLCs, Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLC. FlexConnect vs CAPWAP, Ability to troubleshoot wireless, understanding of signals, roaming, 802.11/a/c/n/g/b. (>4 years) - Advanced Routing and Switching. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, distribute lists, filtering, advertisements. VTP, HSRP, STP, AutoQoS and Voice Vlans. (>4 years) - Great understanding of traffic engineering concepts, QoS, DSCP, CoS, congestion avoidance and queues. - Good understanding of SDWAN specially with Viptela - Goodcommunication skills written and verbal, as this position requires customer facing. **Nice to have, but not required**: - Basic understanding of automation concepts.
