**Quality Shift Lead - JD**

**Reporting To**:Production Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in everyday production meeting and discuss on all quality standards to be addressed on daily basis
- Monitor and check the cleaning of equipment’s & work place
- Ensure no hazardous or contaminating material/items are a permitted into production area
- Check and monitor that good hygiene practices are followed in all working places.
- Check & ensure the entire milk process operation follows the GMP practice.
- Take action against any deviation in GMP/ GHP.
- Check the milk reception quantity and if it meets our quality requirements

Perform Acidity, Fat, SNF, Homo efficiency, Alcohol, Heat stability, CLR, Adulteration (Starch, sugar, salt, glucose), MBRT, PH, AOT, COB,TNTC and temperature test on raw milk received from vendor. Give clearance for raw milk unloading when all the test results
- Check and monitor all areas of plant (processing, packing, dispatch) randomly and verify hygiene checklist
- Check the CIP operator cleaning process.
- Verify the hygiene documents followed by Hygiene Incharge everyday
- Ensure ISQ(In Station Quality) is followed by the operators in their work station.
- Experience in conducting milk test and analysing the root cause in case of any deviation.
- Knowledge on all laboratory equipment’s (such as centrifuge, water bath, PH meter and so on), Chemicals
- Coach Production Leads and Online QC on the best practices to be adopted in production floor for product quality sustainability and enhancement.
- Ensure Machine Operators and labors follow ISQ in their work station.
- Milk/ Juice pasteurizer CCP temperature, OPRP temperature should be monitored and record the same. If any deviation report to production and maintenance team immediately.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in documentation.
- Suggest for updating SOP whenever required to improve the quality standard.
- Responsible to raise indent for chemicals as per the requirement.
