**Key Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Manage patent filings and work with external counsel to protect the company’s intellectual property rights.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Advise on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic business initiatives.
- Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration related to commercial and contractual matters.
- Oversee stock option and equity management, including cap table maintenance and equity plan administration.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to provide legal support and guidance.
- Stay updated on legal trends, industry standards, and emerging regulations impacting the SaaS industry.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master’s degree (LLM) or additional qualifications in intellectual property law is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, with a focus on SaaS, technology, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, corporate law, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with patent filings and managing intellectual property portfolios.
- Proven experience in stock option and equity management, including cap table administration.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research and staying updated with legal developments.
- Admission to the Bar Council of India.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in an international legal environment.
- Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company.
