**Job Summary**:
The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug-related information, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines for mothers and children. They will work closely with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure proper patient care and medication safety.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Dispensing & Medication Management**
- Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications as per doctor’s prescriptions.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and packaging of medicines.
- Maintain stock of essential drugs, especially those related to maternal and pediatric care.

**2. Patient Safety & Education**
- Counsel patients and caregivers on the correct use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and precautions.
- Ensure that high-risk medications (e.g., antibiotics, pain relievers) are prescribed and used appropriately.

**3. Compliance & Record Keeping**
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and drug usage.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical regulations, and government guidelines.

**4. Coordination & Support**
- Work with doctors and nurses to ensure proper drug administration and prevent adverse drug interactions.
- Assist in emergency cases by providing necessary medications promptly.

**5. Quality Control & Inventory Management**
- Regularly check medicine stocks for expiry and proper storage conditions.
- Order and restock medicines to prevent shortages.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm/M.Pharm)
- **License**: Valid pharmacist registration as per local regulations
- **Experience**: Minimum 1 years in a hospital or healthcare setting (preferably in mother & child care)
- **Skills**: Knowledge of pediatric and maternity medications, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills

**Work Schedule & Benefits**:

- Salary: As per hospital norms.
