Our Mobile Medical Van initiative is aimed at delivering primary healthcare to marginalized populations in urban slums, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care.

We are looking for a compassionate and community-oriented **MBBS Doctor** to lead medical services in our Mobile Medical Van program. The role involves providing consultations, diagnosing and treating minor ailments, referring serious cases, and educating patients on preventive health.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct outpatient consultations in the Mobile Medical Van at designated locations.
- Diagnose, treat, and follow up on common health concerns across age groups.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescriptions in physical and/or digital format.
- Refer patients requiring specialized care to relevant government/private facilities.
- Support community awareness and health education initiatives.
- Supervise the paramedic and ANM team for smooth operations.
- Ensure protocols for hygiene, waste disposal, and medication handling are followed.
- Collaborate with the SNEH Foundation team for data reporting and program improvement.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **MBBS degree** from a recognized institution with valid registration (MCI/State Medical Council).
- 1-3 years of experience in primary healthcare or community health preferred (freshers passionate about community service may apply).
- Basic understanding of common illnesses in slum populations (e.g., anemia, respiratory infections, malnutrition).
- Strong communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work in low-resource, field-based settings with empathy and professionalism.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in mobile clinics or health outreach programs.
- Knowledge of Marathi and Hindi for effective communication.

**Work Schedule**:

- 6 days/week
- 8 hours per day
