**Position Title**: Medical Representative

**Reports To**: Area Sales Manager
**Position Overview**: As a Medical Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, etc.). The role requires a proactive and motivated individual with strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensure product visibility, and meet sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product Promotion**:
- Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, medical professionals, hospitals, and clinics.
- Effectively present product information, benefits, and scientific data to healthcare professionals.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
- **Sales & Target Achievement**:
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff to increase product sales.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- **Market Research & Analysis**:
- Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities and assess customer needs.
- Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
- **Product Distribution**:
- Ensure timely delivery and availability of products in healthcare facilities and pharmacies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the distribution team for product availability.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer meetings, and sales activities.
- Submit regular reports to management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- **Relationship Management**:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively and promptly.
- **Continuous Learning**:
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical products, medical practices, and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in training programs to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or any stream
- **Experience**: Fresher with no prior experience or up to 1 year of experience in sales or customer-facing roles (preferred).
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and absorb technical/product knowledge quickly.
- Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
