**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to patient calls for assistance and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in patient care.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a Patient Care Technician training program is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
