**Job Title : Principal - Software Engineering - APS**

**The Purpose of this Role**

**The Expertise You Have**
- 9+ years of Software Development experience
- Strong expertise in Core Java (8+)
- Test Driven Development and CI/CD experience preferred
- Experience with Restful APIs is a plus
- Experience with Camunda is a plus

**The Skills that are key to this Role**
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Git, Node, Jenkins, Docker, Python, Shell Scripts
- Excellent and effective communication required
- Strong problem resolution skills required
- Ability to work in an agile environment required

- Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software - sprint to sprint, release to release
- Excellence in software development practices and procedures
- Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
- Responsible for QA readiness of delivered software (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
- Responsible for supporting implementation of moderate-scope projects or major initiatives
- Works on results-oriented and refined assignments and often multiple phases of a project
- Assists in developing departmental technical policies and procedures
- May assist in establishing project plans for projects of moderate scope
- Mentors junior team members

**The Team**

As part of the Advanced Process Solutions division within Fidelity Investments, you will join a Scrum team of highly motivated & talented individuals tasked with building and maintaining the new Olympus platform. This includes resolving platform technical needs, working with product owners and architects to determine the best technology choices and strategies to ensure success, and implementing solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

**Location**: Bangalore - EGL

**Shift timings**: 11:00 am - 8:00pm IST
