**Job Overview**

As an Accounts and Tax Specialist at Salad Days, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and performing physical verification of assets. You will play a key role in managing financial reconciliations, preparing and filing tax returns, and keeping the company updated on changes in tax laws.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
- Perform regular bank and financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and corporate taxes.
- Maintain comprehensive tax records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Act as the point of contact with tax authorities and handle any tax-related queries or issues.
- Keep updated on changes in tax laws and advise the company accordingly.
- Perform fixed assets verification to ensure accurate asset management and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax compliance.
- Proven experience in financial record-keeping, tax preparation, and filing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle tax-related queries and issues effectively.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Ability to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
