**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS) to patient diagnoses and procedures
- Review medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of codes assigned
- Maintain compliance with industry guidelines and organizational policies
- Assist in preparing coding-related reports as required by supervisors
- Collaborate with senior coders, auditors, and team members for guidance and training
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health information (HIPAA compliance)
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance coding knowledge and skills

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Prerequisites**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or any healthcare-related field (preferred)
- Certification or training in Medical Coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Good communication and comprehension skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
