**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dance Instruction**: Teach various styles of dance (such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, cultural, and modern dance) appropriate to the age and skill level of students.
- **Curriculum Development**: Create lesson plans that align with school standards, balancing technique, performance, theory, and history of dance.
- **Choreography**: Choreograph routines for school performances, assemblies, competitions, and special events.
- **Student Development**: Foster a supportive environment where all students feel encouraged to express themselves and grow their talents.
- **Classroom Management**: Maintain a safe, organized, and positive dance studio or classroom environment.
- **Assessment**: Evaluate student progress through observation, performances, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.
- **Cultural Education**: Introduce students to different dance traditions and styles from around the world to promote cultural understanding.
- **Collaboration**: Work with other teachers, especially music and drama departments, to coordinate performances and integrated arts projects.
- **Professional Growth**: Stay informed on current dance trends, techniques, and education strategies through continued professional development.
- **Supervision**: Organize and supervise rehearsals, after-school practices, and student participation in performances and competitions.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, Dance Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred for some schools).
- **Certification**: Teaching certification may be required, depending on the school or district.
- **Experience**: Prior teaching or professional dance experience is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,102.44 - ₹35,130.29 per month
