A medical receptionist works at the front desk of a medical office providing assistance to patients and visitors. A medical receptionist is responsible for maintaining the organization of a medical office, and ensuring that the medical environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients and their families. Additionally, medical receptionists are expected to provide compassionate service to patients while calmly managing a wide array of tasks. Medical receptionists typically work in clinics and private medical offices.

A high school diploma or equivalent along with 1 year of experience in medical assisting or administration is required for medical receptionists positions. Successful medical receptionists possess strong multi tasking abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist**
- Welcome patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office
- Scanning pertinent patient information into EMR including patient authorizations, recent labs delivered by patients
- Issue specimen collection containers to patients as needed
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
- Preparing superbills and specimen labels for next day's patients
- Track all phone calls that arrive using our general office number
- Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,086.00 - ₹22,003.38 per month
