For the Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Department: High Current Engineering

Location: Chakan Industrial Area, Phase II, Pune

Reports to: Sr Engineering Manager

Position’s overall objective

Electrical design engineering in the Power electronics domain

Primary Responsibilities

1. Handling entire project as electrical design Engineer for particular WO (Work Order).

2. Preparation of Single Line Diagram for MCC/PDB/(HT&LT feeders)

3. Selection of MCC/PDB switch gears, & Power/distribution transformers.

4. Integration of cabinets, and transformers, into 20/40 Feet ISO Containers

5. Preparation of electrical schematic diagrams in EPLAN.

6. Basic Engineering of HT/LT distribution board, SLD preparation, and Protection Scheme.

7. Selection of protection schemes like Arc detection, Fire safety protections, Circuit breakers

8. Selection of cooling systems such as HVAC, water cooling, etc.

9. Selection of components like Switchgear, Cables, Fuse, Meter, CT, PT, relay, etc.

10. Prepare engineering documents such as BOM, Schematic drawings, GA drawings, Manuals

11. Interaction with mechanical design engineers about electrical layout & enclosure designs.

12. Knowledge and practical experience in Root cause analysis, failure analysis, and NCR.

13. Tender support to the sales team

2. BoM issue to purchase, Costing of project

3. Implement cost reduction initiatives.

4. Documentation

5. Interaction with a global team

Work activities
- Electrical design engineering process
- Root cause analysis
- Schematics in EPLAN, costing, BoM, GA drawing preparation.
- Project reviews
- Coordination with other teams for successful project execution

**Salary**: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 6 years (preferred)
- Project Management: 4 years (preferred)
