SuperBottoms, a baby care firm backed by Alia Bhatt, receives $5 million from Lok Capital and Sharrp Ventures. The Mumbai-based company has raised money in three rounds during the previous two years. The company's Series A round funding has reached about $8 million with this tranche. In May 2022, SuperBottoms had managed to raise $3 million from DSG Partners and Saama Capital.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute production plans in collaboration with the sourcing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and factories to manage fabric, trims, and accessories procurement 30 days before delivery date.
- Real Time TNA update.
- Maintain a daily presence at the factory to oversee production activities.
- Work closely with factory managers and staff to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure that production processes align with company policies and quality requirements.
- Ensure all test report should be available with factory during in line inspection.
- Act as a liaison between the sourcing team, suppliers, and factory workers.
- Provide regular updates on production status to the management team.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.
- Monitor and manage production costs to stay within budget.
- Negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the best pricing without compromising on quality.
- Analyze production data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- To Get new supplier on board as per existing price of Product or lower price
- For all core products - 5 New suppliers

**Qualification & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or Business Administration, or a related field. A degree in fashion or têxtiles is often preferred as it provides a strong foundation in garment construction, fabric types, and production processes.
- 5-8 years of experience in production merchandising, preferably in kids’ garments or a similar sector.
- In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Proficient in using production management software and tools.

- Proactive in identifying and resolving production challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with different teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.

- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be able to visit the factories daily and be on-site to manage production activities.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet production deadlines. Location: Tirupur
