- **Proficiency in Stenography**: In-depth knowledge of various stenography systems, such as Gregg shorthand or Pitman shorthand.
- **Typing Speed and Accuracy**: As stenography is closely tied to fast and accurate typing, a high typing speed is essential.
- **Familiarity with Technology**: Knowledge of modern stenographic equipment (e.g., stenotype machines or transcription software) is often required.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for teaching and explaining concepts effectively.
- **Patience and Organization**: Teachers need to be patient, organized, and able to adapt to the different learning speeds of students.

4. **Certifications (If applicable)**:

- **Stenography or Court Reporting Certification**: Certifications such as Certified Court Reporter (CCR) or Certified Stenographic Reporter (CSR) can enhance your qualifications.
