TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

**Key responsibilities**

**Customer Complaint**:

- Generating Containment action reports (3D reports)
- Containment action reports
- Analysing / Investigating and identifying the root cause(s) for customer complaints in the line
- (5 why analysis, C&E, PPSR etc)
- Preparing 8D reports to customers
- Maintaining up to date reports in TECHS
- Teleconferences with customers to resolve the customer concerns
- Verification of implemented corrective actions in the line
- Customer visits if necessary
- RMA generation and replacement activities
- Responsible for customer audits and closure of audit points

**What your background should look like**:
**EDUCATION /KNOWLEDGE**
- BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical Eng.)
- Strong knowledge of Machining, plating, molding
- Product knowledge of connectors and wire and cable
- Ability to read prints and engineering documents
- Ability to make documents required by customer
- System knowledge on AS9100 Rev D, SAP, MS Excel, QC tools etc.
- **Production Quality**:

- Ensuring day today activities / escalations from the line
- Driving actions to reduce customer complaint inflow
- Regular review of NC review, mix-up audit, process audit results.
- Review the effectiveness of Patrol inspection / Final Inspection / PDI / Dock audit gates and implement the appropriate the actions to strengthen the detection processes and focus on the preventive methods
- **MIS Reporting**:Management Information System
- Reporting COPQ and MIS reports to corporate
- Driving actions to reduce the COPQ in the lines
- Driving to initiate Kaizen
