**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job title**:Gerber Operator (automated cutter)

**Location**:Readymade Complex Indore

**Job summary**

Reporting to the Production Manager, the operator mark fabric hides and loads hides onto the machines to specifications ensuring accurate cuts and acceptable quality.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Inspects & verifies parts meet qualifications from work order (quality check
- points, etc)
- Selects items to be cut, operates the machine, off loads parts and bundles parts before sending to sewing
- Load fabric hides onto cutting machine table to be cut according to specifications
- Off loads cut fabric from machine and groups accordingly. Bundle fabric orders and load onto sewing racks
- Maintaining clean/neat work station
- Maintaining tools in working condition (machine, scissors, tape measure, etc)

**Knowledge & abilities**
- Previous cutting experience required (2 years auto operator)
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work off of specs and production tickets to ensure 100% accuracy
- Hand cutting experience a plus
- LEAN manufacturing a plus
- Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, AS400)

**Minimum requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship
- Ability to work full-time

**Salary**: From ₹15,000.00 per month
