Club Digital Reporter and Content Creator

The Club Digital Reporter and Content Creator will work closely with the communications and media team to deliver first-rate content across Punjab Football Club's digital and social media platforms. The individual will be responsible for creating engaging content that fosters a deeper connection with our fans and showcases our team's activities and achievements on and off the field.

**What you’ll do**:

- ** Content Creation**: Create, edit, and distribute compelling content such as news articles, blog posts, player interviews, match reports, and feature stories for the club's website and various social media platforms.
- ** Matchday Coverage**: Provide live digital coverage of all club matches, including build-up, live match updates, post-match reactions, and interviews.
- ** Video Production**: Plan and produce high-quality videos for the club's online platforms, including match highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, player interviews, and promotional videos.
- ** Social Media Management**: Develop and manage the club's social media content calendar. Monitor and engage with fans across different social media platforms.
- ** Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze digital content performance using various analytical tools. Provide reports on engagement and reach and make recommendations for improvements.
- ** Collaboration**: Collaborate with other departments (like the marketing team, ticketing office, and youth academy) to promote their activities and achievements.
- ** Event Coverage**: Cover club events, such as press conferences, player signings, fan meet-ups, and community outreach programs, on digital platforms.
- ** Brand Adherence**: Ensure that all digital content aligns with the club's brand guidelines and messaging.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a digital reporter or content creator, preferably in sports journalism.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce content in the club's brand voice.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of football and the sports industry.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and understanding of social media trends.
- Experience with content management systems, SEO, and web analytics tools.
- Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
- Video production skills, including filming and editing, are a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Punjabi is preferred.
