**Job Description: Electrical Technician - Control Panels for Welding Rotators**

**Position**: Electrical Technician
**Location**: Axetronic Industries, Chakan Plant
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Experience Level**: Mid-Level

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Control Panel Assembly**:

- Design, assemble, and wire control panels for welding rotators based on technical specifications and schematics.
- Install and configure electrical components such as contactors, relays, circuit breakers, VFDs, and motor controllers.
- **Wiring and Testing**:

- Perform wiring of control panels and ensure compliance with electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Conduct functional and continuity tests to verify proper operation of the control panels.
- **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:

- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during panel assembly and installation.
- Provide support for on-site installation and commissioning of welding rotator systems.
- **Documentation**:

- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate records of wiring layouts, modifications, and test results.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all control panels meet company and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Participate in inspections and quality checks to maintain consistent standards.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with design engineers, mechanical technicians, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Provide feedback on design improvements and component selection.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical panel assembly, preferably for welding or automation equipment.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (basic knowledge is acceptable).
- Familiarity with motor drives, sensors, and industrial control components.
- **Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and codes.
- Knowledge of welding rotator operations is an added advantage.
- **Other Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
